Palmoil.io is now free! Introducing our new free subscription
Palmoil.io now offers a free tier, giving all palm oil producers and buyers access to dashboards, deforestation alerts, grievances, and Risk Insight reports. The free plan expands transparency and compliance tools, while paid subscriptions remain available for deeper coverage.
How we got here
When we started Palmoil.io in 2021, choices were divided between free platforms with out-of-date data and limited features, or expensive proprietary systems accessible only to the largest companies. We entered the market offering a range of price points, which allowed us to grow and continuously update the platform. Today, we are proud to support some of the world’s largest palm oil producers as well as small mission-driven NGOs.
Introducing the Palmoil.io Free Tier

We want to take this approach a step further. We are now offering all companies producing or buying palm oil and palm derivatives a free subscription (sign up now at info@maphubs.com). Our goal is to help everyone get started with more advanced tools. In particular, we want to help the smallest companies start down the path of monitoring and compliance, which will translate to much more efficient monitoring further downstream.
What do you get?
A free subscription provides procurement, sustainability, and sales professionals with access to our regularly updated and expert-reviewed company dashboards, maps, and deforestation reports. You have the option to access your company dashboard, a jurisdiction (regency/district), upload up to 100 mills, or access a facility dashboard such as a refinery or a crusher.

Once you select your view, every month, you can view up to five of Palmoil.io’s main features. You can review a monthly selection of mills, plots, grievances, and expert-reviewed deforestation reports. Our global traceability model, jurisdictional dashboards, and secure mill list upload, give you a range of different options to link your supply chain data to our database. There is also documentation and tutorials to help you both understand our data and methods.
Who is the free tier for?
The free account should appeal to all companies, particularly upstream companies monitoring and with smaller supply chains, downstream companies seeking a second opinion, and companies investing in jurisdictional programs. Here are some examples:
Small producers

Smaller producers or smallholders—those with a few plantations or mills—can use Palmoil.io’s estimated traceability-to-plantation model and monthly alerts to get clear, evidence-based insights into potential deforestation risks. Access to Palmoil.io’s expert-reviewed Risk Insight reports helps demonstrate compliance and builds trust with buyers. If you have private plot boundaries, you can load up to five each month and generate DCF reports to share directly with customers.
Landscape Project Investors and Developers

Palmoil.io offers companies developing or investing in jurisdictional projects the most comprehensive monitoring platform available. With the free tier, you can select one regency or district within 15 countries and view monthly and historical deforestation alerts, DCF and EUDR analytics down to the village level, grievances, mill proximity analytics, estimated traceability to the plot, and a selection of Risk Insight reports. This data supports reporting including IRF requirements and investment transparency.
Second opinions

For companies that already have a monitoring system, a free Palmoil.io account offers a valuable independent check. Compare your results with Palmoil.io’s analytics and 3,300+ Risk Insight reports. You may find confirmation of your assessments or identify cases you may have missed.
Need more?
If you start with a free Palmoil.io account and need deeper analytics, we offer tailored packages with expanded features and dashboard views. These scale with your supply chain and monitoring needs, but there is no obligation to upgrade.
