Palmoil.io is now free!

We’re excited to announce the Palmoil.io Free Tier! Companies that grow or purchase palm oil or its derivatives can now explore a limited number of reports and dashboards each month at no cost. You can choose between your Company Dashboard or Jurisdiction Dashboard (regency/district), and upload up a list of mills or facilities to your dashboard. You’ll also receive access to five mill profiles, plot profiles, grievance profiles, risk insight reports, and plots in Plot Check. A company email address is required to sign up. Access for other organizations will be granted on a case-by-case basis. Read more about it here. Sign up now!

Part-Time Junior Project Coordinator (Remote)

MapHubs is hiring a part-time Junior Project Coordinator (remote in New York or Virginia) to keep projects and day-to-day operations running smoothly across its sustainability and supply-chain monitoring work. Palmoil.io at RSPO RT2025

In early November, we participated in RT2025. Leo, Kris, and Sofi represented us at the exhibition. Our booth - featuring our now signature bright neon signage - advertised our new free tier. We happily signed up many new users who want access to our platform.

Kris, Leo, and Sofi enjoyed meeting our colleagues, customers, and a various experts from the palm oil world. We sensed a lot of interest in more effective smallholder mapping and monitoring, grievance tracking, and no nonsense plot-based deforestation-free analytics. All Palmoil.io strong points! We also joined meetings of the Palm Oil Innovation Group's IRF Open Day and IDH's jurisdictional work in East Kalimantan.

We’re announcing new tools and services to help our customers prepare for the NDPE IRF 6.0 changes in 2026!

Jurisdictional dashboards with MSD 

We’ve added MSD to our jurisdictional dashboards for Indonesia, with Malaysia soon to follow. 

• Find your MSD jurisdictions and build a portfolio list to monitor them 
• Only have TTM? Determine if  the jurisdictions in proximity to your mills are likely to be MSD to prioritize your TTP collection efforts

MSD-aligned data for other countries

We’re working on data for Thailand and hope to announce support for additional countries in South and Central America next year.

Landscape Monitoring

• Use our JLD (Jurisdictional and Landscape Dashboards) to find prospective landscape projects and monitor them. 
• Have restoration or HCS areas? Upload them into Plot Check and get an automated report on NDPE compliance
• Interested in monitoring progress of restoration projects?  ask us about our forest gain monitoring options

Continuous Monitoring of Directly Managed Areas (DMAs)

Assistance with TTP and volume calculations

TTP data is messy and applying weighted volume calculations can be difficult. Our Excel wizards can help! We can provide you with workshops and templates to guide you through it, or assist you with the work directly.  

Need DCF beyond just IRF, we also assist with this for DCF using our Palmoil.io plot and jurisdictional DCF percentages which looks at the planted areas before and after the NDPE cutoff to assess the portion of your sourcing area that is NDPE compliant.  

TTM Mill Proximity Monitoring and Assessment

Only have TTM? There is still progress to be made on IRF, use Palmoil.io to assess the status of your mills, automatically link likely plots and grievances in the supply chain from our global database.

Meet the Team

Aqsha, Data Specialist

With a background in astronomy and meteorology, Aqsha has always been fascinated by the science behind how our world works. Her curiosity and analytical mindset naturally led her toward data, where observation meets interpretation. “I’ve always been drawn to the idea of sustainability,” she says. “After graduating, I wanted to find work that still felt connected to that theme. When I found this opportunity, it aligned perfectly with my values and long term goals, so I jumped in, and I’ve been here ever since.” Her most exciting project so far? Grievances, where she puts her problem solving skills to work. Aqsha says her favorite part of the job is using her brain to truly solve things.

Outside of work, she enjoys quiet, reflective moments, especially on a gloomy day, her favorite kind of weather. And if you’re looking for a good read, Aqsha recommends Educated by Tara Westover, Reasons to Stay Alive by Matt Haig, and The Things You Can See Only When You Slow Down by Haemin Sunim.

Did you know that you can now validate the EUDR and NDPE & DCF reports generated in our Palmoil.io Plot Check Pro tool? Simply upload your plot list, and once your reports are ready, you’ll find a QR code at the top right corner of the page, along with a validation link below it. Scan the QR code or click the link to access the Plot Check Validation page, where you can view the Palmoil.io rating, DCF percentage, and detailed report information, as well as follow instructions for conducting a Universal Plot ID Check.
