Country Risk Assessments

Indonesia County Risk Assessment

Palmoil.io has launched EUDR Country Risk Assessments to help palm oil companies better identify, document, and mitigate sourcing risks under the EU Deforestation Regulation. The assessments combine credible public data with Palmoil.io’s proprietary palm-specific intelligence, including deforestation analytics, mill and plot monitoring, grievance tracking, certification coverage, and regional risk analysis.

Designed for compliance with EUDR Articles 10 and 11, as well as for procurement, trading, manufacturing, and financial-sector teams, the reports move beyond generic country-level overviews to show where risk is concentrated, why it matters, and what actions may be needed to support defensible due diligence before palm products enter the EU market. The PDF download link is available on Country Profile pages.

Free Tier Company Dashboards

Free company dashboard

We have added Company Dashboards to all free tier accounts. Dashboards give you an overview of monthly and annual deforestation trends in your supply chain. RADD alerts are tracked each month, both within 50 km of your mills and within all plots. Monthly RADD alerts are displayed in a year-over-year monthly trend line chart showing the number of deforestation alerts within 50 km of each mill. This helps users quickly understand whether current forest alerts are normal, improving, worsening, or unusually severe compared with historical patterns.

DCF/NDPE breakdown for each land use

The dashboard compares 2021–2026 by month, with each year shown as a separate colored line.

You can also see your percentage of Deforestation and Conversion Free (DCF) sourcing, as well as a breakdown of the percentage of each land use. See the example above.

What's coming up?

Data milestones

Since we launched Palmoil.io, we have continually added more risk information to the platform. We are now close to achieving a number of milestones for our Risk Insight reports, grievances, and news stories.

Risk Insights

Risk Insights dashboard

Next month, we will likely cross 4,500 Risk Insight reports. Almost 20% of all known industrial palm plots globally now have at least one Risk Insight report, giving our subscribers expert-verified evidence of deforestation and peat loss cases. We produce between 150 and 250 new Risk Insights each month.

Grievances

We are approaching almost 4,000 grievances from 52 company trackers. We believe this represents the most comprehensive and regularly updated palm oil grievance database available. This gives our customers unparalleled coverage of deforestation, human rights violations, water pollution, and land conflict cases in the public domain. As they are public, self-reported records, grievance reviews are a critical resource for EUDR compliance, particularly for monitoring legal risks and substantiated concerns.

News Stories

News story

There are now 1,415 news stories in Palmoil.io. Every month, we monitor dozens of reputable international and national news sources for palm oil risk-related stories and NGO reports. Our analysts review the stories and then add them to our database, matching them to our plot, mill, jurisdictional, and company dashboards. This ensures that our customers are informed of public news linked to their supply chains.

Companies often file news stories as grievances, so by monitoring and connecting news stories to supply chains, we help our customers track potential grievances.

Tip of the Month

Use Portfolio to build a custom grievance tracker

If you monitor your company dashboard, you will likely find that Palmoil.io has linked you to hundreds of grievances. This may be overwhelming. To help prioritize grievances, you can search or filter grievances and then save them to your portfolio.

For example, if you want to monitor only unresolved labor violation cases, select all labor-related grievance issues and filter your table. You can further narrow your selection with additional filters such as status, such as unresolved, or filing date.

Once you have filtered the grievances, click on the star in the Action column and click “Add to List.” You can add the grievance to an existing grievance portfolio list or click “Create a New List.” Give the list a name and then add the grievance to the list. The list will now appear in your Portfolio, and you can continue adding new grievances as they are published.
